Rideshare Week Campaigns

RCTC and SBCTA, IE Commuter. 2015 to present.

Rideshare Week asks commuters to pledge to share a ride. The campaign runs once a year, which makes it an unusually clean test: same program, same region, roughly the same audience, and no budget expansion. Anything that moves is creative and execution.

Between FY16 and FY20 the pledge count grew every single year, roughly doubling over five campaigns. That growth came from an annual creative refresh rather than more media weight or a wider audience. We treat that record as the clearest evidence we have that creative strategy is a measurable performance lever, not a line item.

The campaigns have also been the most decorated work in the firm's portfolio, with 14 local advertising awards plus 2018 national recognition from the Association for Commuter Transportation for Rideshare Week creative design and the participation increases behind it.

Media Beef and its predecessor agency have executed 22 consecutive annual Rideshare Week campaigns dating back to 2003. Two decades of uninterrupted work on one annual campaign is its own kind of expertise.
